In Daemones Ex Machina, players embody elite, cybernetically augmented corporate operatives fighting for survival on the wrong side of a massive, shadowy conspiracy. Faced with overwhelming odds and relentless hunters, the crew must rely on dark pacts with demons to gain game-changing magical powers, leveling the playing field at a terrible price. Rather than consuming the operatives directly, these evil forces feed on the suffering of the local community, forcing the crew to deliberately harm or exploit their own safehouse neighborhood to fuel their abilities. Built around a d6 dice pool system that drives collaborative narrative control, the game balances high-stakes tactical operations, neighborhood management, and investigative legwork to pull back the curtain on a sinister corporate plot before time runs out.
