Description

Hello Adventurers! By day I'm a Chemistry and Physics Professor in which I've led student learning for 27 years. But some nights and some weekends, I love to lead Dungeons and Dragons games! The games I run use the DnD, 5e, 2024 ruleset. If you understand what that means, great! If you have no idea what that means, even better! I am happy to lead games for both long-experienced players and for beginners. I was recently extremely honored to receive an award as one of two 2025 Dungeon Masters of the Year from Baldman Games (the official Wizards of the Coast premium provider for organized play events at the largest TTRPG conventions in the U.S.) I typically run games at The Parlour Tabletop and Tome approximately once per month. Recently those games have used the Adventurers League ruleset for official Wizards of the Coast organized play. Adventurers League (AL) allows you to level up your character at one place in an AL module one night and then take your character with you to another place and/or another game that is also using the AL guidelines. These games can be virtual, or at a friendly game store (such as The Parlour!) or at a gaming convention (such as PaxUnplugged or Mepacon). You track your character's games, advancements, equipment, and rewards as you go -- each game joining a new set of adventurers (and real-life people!) along the way making your individual story something unique and meaningful to you. For a list of those AL rules including character generation please see https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/d-d-organized-play/192532-d-d-adventurers-league-resources-links-updated-12 AL games, including at the Parlour, are one-shots meaning you are welcome to join any of them at any time assuming you have an AL-legal character of the appropriate level range. Once they are released to the public, I plan to run the next iteration of 5e organized play, Legends of Greyhawk, as well!

Our TTRPG Policy

We’re excited to have you at the table! To keep things running smoothly and make sure everyone has a great time, here’s how booking works: Booking a Seat Reserving a seat at a TTRPG table is totally free! Each booking form can reserve spots for up to two players per session. Food & Drink Minimum We ask for a $5 minimum food or drink purchase per player, and if you’d rather not order there’s a $5 table fee instead. This helps keep us going strong so we can continue to create a space for games in our community! Cancellations If you can’t make it, please cancel at least 5 days in advance. Our Game Masters put a lot of time and creativity into writing these adventures, and this helps respect their effort and planning. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may limit future bookings. Player Etiquette Be kind, be cool, and be respectful to your fellow players, the GM, and staff. We tolerate absolutely no harassment, hate, or disruptive behavior. We’re here to roll dice, not start drama! Open & Inclusive Table Our tables are an open and welcoming space for everyone. All identities, backgrounds, and experience levels are celebrated here. Age Guidelines Our standard TTRPG sessions are 18+ unless otherwise stated. Sessions specifically labeled as Teen Games or Family Games are open to younger players. Please check the session description before booking to make sure it’s the right fit for your group! By booking a seat, you’re agreeing to these guidelines and helping us keep the table fun, fair, and friendly for all. We're looking forward to seeing you here! If you have any questions about our guidelines, feel free to email us at ttrpg.guild@theparlourtabletop.com
