Adventurer's League, DnD
Description
Hello Adventurers! By day I'm a Chemistry and Physics Professor in which I've led student learning for 27 years. But some nights and some weekends, I love to lead Dungeons and Dragons games! The games I run use the DnD, 5e, 2024 ruleset. If you understand what that means, great! If you have no idea what that means, even better! I am happy to lead games for both long-experienced players and for beginners. I was recently extremely honored to receive an award as one of two 2025 Dungeon Masters of the Year from Baldman Games (the official Wizards of the Coast premium provider for organized play events at the largest TTRPG conventions in the U.S.) I typically run games at The Parlour Tabletop and Tome approximately once per month. Recently those games have used the Adventurers League ruleset for official Wizards of the Coast organized play. 5/8 Game Description: DDHC-DD-04: For Whom the Void Calls An Adventurer's League One-Shot adventure — appropriate for any level 3 through 7 Adventurer's League legal character set in Faerûn. A remote settlement on the edge of civilization has fallen eerily silent. Trade has ceased, prayers go unanswered, and those who venture too close speak of a strange, whispering darkness that lingers just beyond sight. When the call for aid reaches your ears, you and your fellow adventurers must uncover the truth behind the growing void—and confront the unsettling force that answers when something calls back. What begins as a simple investigation soon spirals into a chilling descent into cosmic mystery, where reality frays, trust is tested, and the unknown presses in from all sides. Will you stand firm against the encroaching darkness, or will you, too, hear the call? Triggers/Content Warnings: This adventure includes themes of cosmic horror, psychological distress, isolation, and loss of control. It may feature unsettling imagery, whispers or voices beyond comprehension, and encounters that challenge characters’ perceptions of reality. Player discretion is advised.

Our TTRPG Policy
We’re excited to have you at the table! To keep things running smoothly and make sure everyone has a great time, here’s how booking works: Booking a Seat Reserving a seat at a TTRPG table is totally free! Each booking form can reserve spots for up to two players per session. Food & Drink Minimum We ask for a $5 minimum food or drink purchase per player, and if you’d rather not order there’s a $5 table fee instead. This helps keep us going strong so we can continue to create a space for games in our community! Cancellations If you can’t make it, please cancel at least 5 days in advance. Our Game Masters put a lot of time and creativity into writing these adventures, and this helps respect their effort and planning. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may limit future bookings. Player Etiquette Be kind, be cool, and be respectful to your fellow players, the GM, and staff. We tolerate absolutely no harassment, hate, or disruptive behavior. We’re here to roll dice, not start drama! Open & Inclusive Table Our tables are an open and welcoming space for everyone. All identities, backgrounds, and experience levels are celebrated here. Age Guidelines Our standard TTRPG sessions are 18+ unless otherwise stated. Sessions specifically labeled as Teen Games or Family Games are open to younger players. Please check the session description before booking to make sure it’s the right fit for your group! By booking a seat, you’re agreeing to these guidelines and helping us keep the table fun, fair, and friendly for all. We're looking forward to seeing you here! If you have any questions about our guidelines, feel free to email us at ttrpg.guild@theparlourtabletop.com
